ジールス、メルカリのAI研究を主導したDr. Matthieu DestepheがHead of AIとして入社
株式会社ZEALS（所在地：東京都目黒区、代表取締役：清水正大、以下ジールス）は、メルカリでSenior Engineering Managerを務めたMatthieu Destephe氏がHead of AIとして入社したことをお知らせいたします。
Dr. Destephe氏は、早稲田大学でロボティクスの博士号を取得し、AIと機械学習の領域で豊富な専門知識を有しています。ソフトバンクロボティクスジャパンでのテックリードおよびエンジニアリングマネージャーとしてのキャリアをスタートさせた後、ボストンコンサルティンググループのBCG GAMMA※にてAIソリューションアーキテクトおよびデータサイエンティストを務めました。後に、メルカリのAI研究を主導し、Search Engineering Division内のチームを指揮しながら検索の関連性向上において大きな貢献を果たしました。
ジールスは、Dr. Destephe氏を新たに迎え、最新の生成AI技術を活用した盤石な開発体制を構築いたします。生成AIの社会実装に焦点を当て、チャットコマースを日本から世界へ届けてまいります。
